THE BAT in New York

THE BAT in New York
The New Stage Theatre Company is excited to present the US premiere of the play THE BAT written by Krisztina Tóth.

In a kindergarten changing room a rubber bat vanishes into thin air, igniting suspicion and resentment among the parents. As mutual distrust and resentment are laid bare, what unfolds is a tale of family and community life that is both humorous and heartbreaking, familiar and unsettling. Within the most quotidian of settings, „The Bat” offers a layered portrait of contemporary Hungarian society.
